In the spotlight section we zoom in on certain aspects of our products. In this spotlight we want to talk about the AMPs hole pattern you find on the back of our So Cool keyboard and the world of mounting options this opens up for you.
Our So Cool keyboard was designed to be mounted inside a vehicle or other means of transport of any kind. On the back of the keyboard you find the AMPs hole pattern, which allows adding mounts which work with that same hole pattern. In fact, AMPs based mounts are often compact in form factor, ideal for mounting our So Cool keyboard in a space saving way to fit the limited space usually available.
To show you just how versatile the mounting options for this keyboard are, we want to share with you some ideas for mounting the keyboard, using mounts from RAM Mounts™. These mounts give you almost unlimited flexibility in regards to mounting your So Cool keyboard. Start off with their basic ball joint, which attaches directly to the back of the keyboard, as seen below in the picture on the right. Then add their double socket arm, so you can swing the keyboard and will have almost infinite adjustment to create that perfect typing angle. Finish your mounting solution with any of the versatile mounting options available. We are showing in below picture some of the most popular options. The far left shows a mount with pre-drilled holes combined with the socket arm just mentioned. Next is a solution accommodating rail mounting, then next is a suction cup base designed to have hold on glass and non-porous plastic surfaces. The far right shows a mounting base for quick and easy tool-less installation and removal on round, square, odd shaped rails and bars, called tough-claw.
